Our idea for retailing handcrafted ship models online came about during a trip abroad shortly after graduating from college in 1999. Upon returning we formed WoodenModelShips.com with a modest selection of four ship models.

Nearly a decade and thousands of happy customers later (see our testimonials), we continue to provide beautiful ship models and personal service. Most orders are now shipped directly from our suppliers. Our selection now encompasses dozens of models, and since the beginning we have stood behind every one of them with our guarantee.
